Water baptism is the physical action which symbolizes the believer casting off the sin nature, identifying with Jesus’ death. They then receive the new nature by identifying with Jesus’ resurrection to new life. Matthew 18:19, Romans 6:4, Acts 10:47-48
The sin nature separated man from God. Those who desire to be saved must believe that Jesus died for their sins and rose again. They must invite Him into their heart and confess Him as Lord and Savior. Romans 3:24 & 10:8-10
There is a second work of grace that a believer can receive, whereby the believer’s spirit is filled with the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit fills them with the power of God. Acts 2:38,10:44-46 & 19:2, Gal 5:15-26
The evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking in unknown tongues. This is a gift from God and is a supernatural prayer language that empowers a believer to walk in greater fellowship and victory. Acts 1:8, 2:4 & 10:44-46
Jesus took all sickness, disease, and infirmities into His body when he died on the cross so we would not have to bear them. We receive healing by God’s grace through faith. Peter 2:24, Mark 16:17-18
